King of the Mountain

Another week has flown by. We'll be missing Daddy this weekend who is off to Scotland for a friends wedding. I was comforting an inconsolable Jack upon Daddies departure at 6am this morning. So. Yawn. Coffee please. As you can imagine.

Jack had a blast exploring the beautiful ruins of this old church recently. The surrounding scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Check out the jumper. He's wearing the Kids Vintage Knit Sweater from American Apparel, with some Zara kids jeans and suede shoes.

Here's some stuff I've been snapping:

1. Little hands exploring big bro's face
2. Elephant print romper from Desmond Elephant - claim 15% discount on an order with JACK15
3. Happy Maisey-Dog
4. Duckie on my head
5. Bouncy baby
6. An autumn walk with Granny
7. 16 weeks old
8. Love You Forever, it chokes me up every time.

  3. I hope Daddy has a fun time in Scotland. Jack's blue jumper really suits him, the love the old knit look and it looks a lovely place to be running free. Thank you for sharing on Country Kids.

  5. What great curly hair he has and an infectious smile. I am with you on the "Love You Forever" book. Was just recently getting rid of all the baby books. This one is tattered and torn, but I just could not toss it.

  10. I know i say it every time but you just take the most beautiful photos. I have been struggling with the fact we are so busy to get out and get my big camera out, plus I find our house is so dingy and uninspiring. Seeing these makes me think I really must get it out! x

    1. Thank you so much for this lovely lovely comment. I really feel like my house is so dingy and uninspiring too. I have to photograph it in certain ways to omit the not-so-nice parts. So thanks again for your compliments, it's means a lot.

  11. I can imagine a little boy's sadness when his Dad leaves for a couple of days, your reassurances and love at a crazy hour of the morning, and then.. no imagination needed for that smile.. especially in the shot where he is touching the brick wall. I bet that is just how he'll look when Daddy returns.
