Suits you, sir!

Did you hear a super loud crack yesterday? If you did, that was the sound of this Mummies heart breaking with pride at my little boy in his first suit. We attended my cousins wedding - It was a beautiful day with a beautiful bride. Jack had a blast eating good food and busting some moves on the dance floor.

I decided I wanted to get him a suit for the occasion and, despite my husbands advice, I took a chance and bought a suit on eBay. He was right. Cute as it was, it was far too big. So, another suit had to be purchased, which fitted much better. The photos below illustrate this like a double page spread in a Trinny and Suzanna style 'What not to wear..." manual. The better fitting suit was from Marks and Spencers and worth every penny. The shirt, tie, waistcoat and trou were all included, and the quality was apparent. Jack got so many compliments, and he was quite a hit with the ladies... Oh my little man.

Patterns on my Jumper

Thanks to my favourite friend for another great vintage find. Look at this little red sweater. So cute! He wears it with a white baby Gap shirt (you can see he turns up the collar - He's class like that) and navy cords from Zara Kids. Above he wears his red Keds and below Aigle wellies.

Scarf Weather

It seems like summer forgot us here in Ireland. There was a serious lack of sunshine, but at least it wasn't cold. Until about 2 days ago that is. All of a sudden the temperature seems to have plummeted and we're all shivering. The one good thing about the cold weather is I can dig out all my scarves. I like a good scarf, me. So does wee Jack. Here he sports a most beautiful Barbour scarf. They match his new Aigle Perdrix wellies perfectly. By now, you probably think I'm on the payroll for Aigle. I'm not - I can assure you. I am just really brand loyal, and when I find a brand I love I'm theirs. Forever.

J is for Jack

Today I'm breaking my blogging silence (after a busy couple of weeks - sorry) to feature one of my favourite tops in Jacks wardrobe. This is the comfortable little Helvetica Infant Lap tee from American Apparel. Today was the first week back to one of my Mums and Tots groups after the summer break, and a few people commented on how his the 'J' on his tee helped to jog their memory. I was struggling to remember all the little ones names too after a 2 month hiatus, plus babies change so much in such a short time. It would have been handy if all the little 'uns wore one of these!
